Apple Business and DEP Accounts

Wondering if someone who uses Apple DEP and business accounts can help. We are working on a specific project, using its own infrastructure and devices. The plan would be to buy all devices from Apple on Corporate account that customers will use, controlled by a MDM linked to DEP auto enrollment.

My company has a procurement department we have to go through, and a apple account. Can the Apple business account have multiple DEP pools or do I have to start a new apple business account so I get all corporate devices over in my MDM??

Procurement dont know that much and internal IT dont use MDM or DEP, just give out devices.
